A dedicated cartoon strip is a very special link to your readership, through it you can engage with them, poke fun at them, highlight their problems and rejoice in their triumphs… occasionally all at the same time.
Creating a new strip cartoon is always a challenge and always fun. Initially it's collaboration between the Editor and the cartoonist, creating the main character and defining his or her place in the great scheme of things.
